Registration Code is Accepted but is Then Immediately "Forgotten"
Description
Our product is accepting your registration code and works normally - but the next time you start the program it reports that
it has expired and you need to re-enter the registration code. The registration code does not seem to "stick".
Cause
All Efofex products store their registration information in simple text files that are stored in the program subdirectory.
(On most computers the files are stored in C:\Program Files\Efofex)
Depending on your user privileges, you may not have the required permissions to write the file. Our product will report that
your code is valid but when it goes to write the registration information, the operating system blocks the request. Versions
released prior to September 2006 failed to report this as an error.
Action
To fix the problem, all you need to do is reenter the registration information using an account WITH administrator privileges or
use an administrator account to copy a registration file from another computer to the correct location.
Versions of our software released since September 2006 report the failure to write the registration file when you enter the
code which should prevent this problem.
