You will often want to share parameters between two different objects - an FX Draw diagram and an FX Equation equation for example.
Every set of parameters is allocated a unique identifier. To share parameters we need to point both objects to the same, uniquely identified parameters.
You can view the unique ID on the parameter definition screen. Usually, you can ignore this identifier but it does allow you to check that two objects share the same set of parameters.
To share parameters, we need to copy the parameters to the clipboard (using the special copy parameters button) and then switch to the other object. If you have parameters on the clipboard, the new object will offer to automatically load the parameters.
If you accept this offer, your two objects will share the parameter definitions.
