Inverse Cartesian functions (x = ) can be entered as

or
3y2+3y-4
the x = is optional
The graph tool will rearrange functions if possible. 3xy + y = 4x will be internally rearranged into y = 4x/(3x+1) to provide access to more of the graph tool's features.
